We thank Dr. Terry Newton, Advisor to the Hispanic Student Association (and Professor) at St. Edwards University for his delightful presentation at our April Luncheon . The Hispanic Student Association strives to advance the aims and ideals of Hispanics on campus and in the Austin community by sponsoring meetings and cultural events and by participating in off-campus functions. Dr. Newton shared with us the adventures he has shared with students as he's taken them to Guanajuato Mexico. We enjoyed learning more about how he has fostering good neighborliness with these culturally-enriching trips & activities.
We also recognized Diamantina Casiano, a student from Reagan High School for her outstanding achievements.
